Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 DOE plus benefits

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 4.30, Friday 8.00 to 3.30

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Department Manager to join a well-established construction machinery business in Chesterfield. This is a key leadership role responsible for the full parts operation, including procurement, stock control, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and supplier management to ensure parts are sourced efficiently
  • Stock control and maintaining accurate inventory levels
  • Leading and developing the parts team
  • Managing customer enquiries and building strong working relationships
  • Overseeing order processing, returns, and invoicing
  • Monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements
  • Maintaining pricing, promotions, and online parts platforms
  • Supporting business growth and identifying cost saving opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum three years staff management experience
  • Strong background in spare parts management, ideally within construction machinery
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
  • Technical understanding of machinery and components
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Syncron is an advantage
