Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Department Manager to join a well-established construction machinery business in Chesterfield. This is a key leadership role responsible for the full parts operation, including procurement, stock control, customer service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement and supplier management to ensure parts are sourced efficiently
- Stock control and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Leading and developing the parts team
- Managing customer enquiries and building strong working relationships
- Overseeing order processing, returns, and invoicing
- Monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements
- Maintaining pricing, promotions, and online parts platforms
- Supporting business growth and identifying cost saving opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum three years staff management experience
- Strong background in spare parts management, ideally within construction machinery
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
- Technical understanding of machinery and components
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Syncron is an advantage
