Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join a successful and growing business based in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Marketing & Business Development Executive who enjoys combining creative marketing with proactive sales and new business generation.

As a Marketing & Business Development Executive, your key priority will be outbound prospecting and lead generation. You will identify potential customers, make outbound calls, develop relationships and create new sales opportunities.

The Role

  • Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy
  • Lead outbound prospecting and new business generation
  • Identify and research target customers and markets
  • Make proactive outbound calls and follow up sales opportunities
  • Manage and develop prospect and marketing databases
  • Manage external marketing agencies and suppliers
  • Coordinate and manage e-shot and email marketing campaigns
  • Manage and update the e-commerce website
  • Create engaging website, digital and marketing content
  • Review and update brochures, sales literature and marketing materials
  • Support SEO, social media and wider digital marketing activity
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Coordinate exhibitions, trade shows and company events
  • Produce and maintain product information, technical literature and imagery
  • Support the wider sales team with targeted marketing campaigns and lead generation

About You

We’re looking for a proactive Marketing & Business Development Executive with a strong combination of marketing, communication and commercial skills. You’ll ideally have experience in:

  • B2B marketing
  • Outbound sales and prospecting
  • Lead generation and customer acquisition
  • Copywriting and content creation
  • Email and e-shot marketing
  • Website and e-commerce management
  • SEO and digital marketing

  • Marketing campaign planning and execution

You’ll be confident, creative, commercially driven and highly organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable picking up the phone, speaking to new prospects and proactively generating opportunities.
