What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
- A NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- An understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability and the person centred approach.
- The ability to manage, support, and motivate staff teams to ensure high standards of care and effective teamwork across all shifts.

About the Role:
- Supporting the Service Manager in promoting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents.
- Delivering person-centred care that maintains residents’ independence, dignity, and active involvement in daily life.
- Providing companionship and encouragement through meaningful engagement and positive interactions.
- Leading and supporting staff to deliver safe, high-quality care in line with organisational policies, safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring the safety and protection of residents by recognising, reporting, and responding to safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service in the Service Manager’s absence, ensuring full compliance with Frances Taylor Foundation policies and procedures.
