Senior Night Care and Support Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours a week | 3 Night Shifts a week

Shift Pattern: 19:30pm - 8:00am

Pay Rate: £35, 128 per annum / £18.01 per hour

Location: St. Joseph's Blundell Avenue, Freshfield, Formby, Liverpool, L37 1PH

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 12 months experience working in a comparable role




• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

• A high standard of both written and spoken communication




• A good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook

About the Role:

As aSenior Night Care and Support Worker, you'll join a committed team that delivers high-quality care and support. This pivotal role involves:

• Administering medication to up to 36 service users in accordance with care plans and safety procedures




• Acting as the primary point of contact in emergency situations during the absence of the Night Team Leader




• Working collaboratively with the Night Team Leader and Senior Care and Support Workers to promote high standards of practice that support the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of residents




• Supervising and oversee a team of Care and Support Workers throughout the night, reporting any staff management issues to the Night Team Leader while also providing hands‑on support
