Hours: Full Time or Part Time - Flexibility & Weekend Required

Shift Patterns: Early 7.45am-2pm & Late 2pm-8pm or Long Day 7.45am-8pm

Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour or £13.30 with NVQ/QCF per hour

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, in Social Care you'll join a committed team that delivers high-quality care and support. This pivotal role involves:

  • Assisting both male and female residents with daily living activities such as personal care, administering medication, and mealtime support.
  • Organising and encouraging daily activities that contribute to residents’ well-being, enhance their autonomy, and preserve their dignity.
  • Offering companionship and positive reinforcement through meaningful interactions and active engagement with residents.

About St. Joseph's Care Home:

St. Joseph's Home specialises in supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities who have complex health care needs. Our facility features beautiful, secure grounds, and three sensory rooms with state-of-the-art multi-sensory equipment. Residents can personalise their bedrooms and enjoy a variety of activities, including social clubs, music therapy, a sensory garden, and reminiscence sessions. We also support community outings to Liverpool City Centre for concerts and the local village for shopping and dining with family and friends. We have a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting our commitment to a person-centred approach that uses intensive interaction to facilitate communication.
