With a heritage spanning more than a century in the food industry, Framptons has developed renowned processing facilities at its Somerset factory.
Responsibilities
- Upon completion of this apprenticeship, there could be potential to become an IT Support Technician within Framptons Ltd.
- Setting up new starters on the system, creating/migrating their mailbox from a prem environment to the cloud.
- Setting up hardware devices like computers, laptops, cameras and printers.
- Assisting employees with general IT issues/queries, ranging from setting up peripherals to troubleshooting complex problems.
- Collaborating with all departments across the business working on crucial IT projects.
- Testing and maintenance of the backup system.
- Firewall maintenance and updating rules within the system.
- Configuration and maintenance of Cisco switches.
- Checking computers/laptops for Windows updates, manually and automatically through an update server.
- Involved in improving cyber policies and phishing simulations.
- Updating/improving documentation procedures.
- Effectively control health & safety risks within your designated work areas and teams.
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
