Framlingham College is a co-educational boarding and day school comprising the Prep School, set in the beautiful surroundings of Brandeston Hall, and the Senior School, located in the historic market town of Framlingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Commercial and Events Officer to join our Commercial and Events team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the delivery and growth of the College's commercial activities, including sports facility hire, residential lettings and a range of events.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery and growth of the College's commercial activities, including sports facility hire, residential lettings and events.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of events, coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • During term time, work predominantly in the office with hours typically between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday; occasional evenings and weekend work to meet with clients and support events.
  • Outside of term time, particularly during the summer period in July and August, take a more operational role, supporting and overseeing events and residential lettings across the College site with varied hours including regular weekend work.
Hours and pattern

During term time, hours are typically 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Outside of term time, responsibilities become more operational with varied hours, including regular weekend work.

Requirements
  • Flexible, proactive and able to adapt to the changing demands of a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Organised with strong customer-service skills.
  • Willingness to work across a busy campus and to accommodate variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
