We are looking to hire an Institutional Sales Executive. This individual will mentor the sales team and drive success across the segment. This position is responsible for transitioning existing institutional clients from single‐service users into holistic partners by identifying opportunities across the full product suite. This role will be tasked with working with large complex clients, constantly raising the bar for success, and continuously establishing deep customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Optimization: Execute sophisticated account management strategies to deepen the footprint within the existing institutional client base.
- Service Integration: Identify and qualify opportunities for clients to utilize additional FalconX services, with a primary focus on driving adoption of custody, credit and lending solutions.
- Relationship Orchestration: Establish and maintain lasting relationships with senior executives and key decision‐makers through proactive consultation.
- Strategic Alignment: Partner with leadership to ensure sales deliverables and account growth strategies align with broader business objectives.
- Cross‐Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Institutional Coverage and Product teams to deliver exemplary client satisfaction and integrated service delivery.
- Market Presence: Research and attend relevant industry conferences to represent the firm and strengthen institutional ties.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–8+ years of relevant experience in institutional finance, with 1‐2 years in a crypto or digital assets related role preferred.
- Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of various cryptocurrencies, underlying blockchain technology, and the evolving global regulatory landscape.
- Market Expertise: Proven proficiency in equity sales, derivatives, and hedge fund structures.
- Negotiation & Communication: Remarkable negotiation skills and the ability to succinctly relay complex value propositions to sophisticated stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Ability to administer large, complex client accounts with superior attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Mindset: A sales‐minded, entrepreneurial, and team‐oriented approach to business development.
- Product Fluency: Familiarity with the FalconX product ecosystem, specifically trading and prime brokerage services.
Compensation
This is a full‐time position with an expected annual base compensation of $196,000 to $248,000 for Manager level and $238,000 to $300,000 for a Senior Manager here in New York City. The actual compensation for a successful candidate may vary based on factors such as skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation and benefits include:
