We are looking for a highly connected, detail‑oriented Podcast Booking & Executive Communications Manager to secure, manage, and optimize podcast appearances for our internal executives, particularly those across engineering, AI, and technical leadership. This role requires someone who understands the technology landscape, can speak credibly with producers and hosts, and knows how to strategically match the right executives to the right shows.
You will own the entire lifecycle of podcast placement: identifying opportunities, pitching shows, securing bookings, prepping executives, ensuring messaging alignment, and managing all logistics from outreach to post‑production follow‑up.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a podcast placement strategy aligned with company goals, product announcements, thought leadership themes, and brand positioning.
- Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with podcast hosts, producers, editors, and bookers across top‑tier and mid‑tier tech, engineering, and business shows.
- Pitch and secure podcast appearances for executives based on their expertise level, narrative fit, and audience relevance.
- Maintain an active pipeline of podcast opportunities ranging from major outlets to specialized engineering and AI‑focused shows.
- Prepare executives for conversations by developing briefing materials: key talking points, audience insights, host background, sample questions, and narrative frameworks.
- Collaborate with Comms, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy while maintaining editorial clarity and storytelling.
- Conduct pre‑interviews or prep sessions to ensure executives are fully ready for both high‑level and technically deep podcast conversations.
- Own all scheduling, coordination, and communication with podcast teams and internal stakeholders.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, follow‑up, and promotion cycles.
- Track performance metrics, audience reach, sentiment, and downstream content opportunities (clips, social content, repurposing, etc.).
- Grow and maintain a strong network of podcast producers, bookers, hosts, and media contacts across the technology and business landscape.
- Understand each show’s editorial focus and positioning to match executives appropriately.
- Position executives as valuable guests to both high‑profile and emerging podcasts in engineering, AI, cloud, security, and broader tech.
- Identify moments where announcements, launches, or technical milestones can be amplified through podcast placements.
- Repurpose podcast appearances into blogs, social clips, speaking opportunities, or thought‑leadership pipelines.
- 3–5+ years of experience in podcast booking, PR, communications, media relations, or editorial production, ideally in a tech or engineering‑driven company.
- Demonstrated success securing podcast placements for executives, founders, or technical leaders.
- Strong understanding of technology topics such as AI, machine learning, cloud, software engineering, cybersecurity, or developer tools.
- Existing connections with podcast hosts, producers, and media across top‑tier and niche tech shows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; skilled at tailoring complex technical concepts into engaging messages.
- Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable engaging with senior executives, engineers, product leaders, and journalists.
