An exciting opportunity has come up within Frameworks. The RSAP Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Plus team provide intensive support to complex and chaotic service users to enable them to successfully sustain accommodation. We're looking for passionate and dedicated people with a talent to work with vulnerable adults with a wide range of issues. This role is a car driver essential role as the team cover a large geographical area, petrol expenses are reimbursed.

The individuals we work with have a history of rough sleeping and multiple complex needs and struggle to adapt to the lifestyle change. The post exists to stem the flow of rough sleepers by taking a lead on coordinating the support from a range of agencies to adults with a broad range of issues, and creatively supporting those individuals to maintain tenancies, sustain independent living, and build their resilience.

The main function of the role will be:

  • To work alongside other services throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to provide a multi-agency approach to service users
  • To assess individual service users' skills and needs and to work positively with risk
  • To support rough sleepers to engage with a process of resettlement into accommodation and equip them with the skills to maintain a tenancy successfully and find permanent accommodation
  • To ensure safety and security of the client
  • To build the skills and confidence of service users to empower them in maximising their independence
  • Support individuals to sustain independent living
  • Identify and support people appropriately who are experiencing severe multiple disadvantage

As the service works to support clients across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, it is essential for any applicants to have access to their own car and a full driving license.
