We're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and resilient Recovery Worker to join our team, supporting individuals affected by substance misuse to achieve their recovery goals and improve their health and wellbeing.

About the Role: As a Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals throughout their treatment journey. Working closely with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams, you will assess needs, develop recovery plans, deliver interventions, promote harm reduction, and empower people to make lasting changes. This is a rewarding role for someone who believes in people's ability to recover and who is committed to delivering high-quality, non-judgemental support.

As a Recovery Worker you will:

• Manage a caseload of service users through assessment, recovery planning, review, and discharge.
• Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions.
• Support clients to access clinical treatment and wider recovery support services.
• Provide harm reduction advice and interventions, including naloxone distribution and needle exchange services.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans.
• Work collaboratively with health, social care, criminal justice, and safeguarding partners.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service performance targets.

What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone who is:

• Knowledgeable about substance misuse and recovery approaches.
• Experienced in caseload management and risk assessment.
• Strong in communication and relationship-building skills.
• Non-judgemental, with a strengths-based approach to supporting others.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• Experienced in working with multiple agencies and professional partners.
• Possesses a full driving licence and access to a car, as well as the ability to obtain Police clearance.
