Framework are seeking a Wellbeing and Recovery Worker to join their Mental Health and Wellbeing team (Wellness in Mind), delivering specialist mental health psychoeducation and support to adults in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The service offers self-referral support to adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health, and prides itself on a personalised and trauma informed approach to support.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to provide impactful support to a broad range of people, and to contribute to the shaping and development of a mental health and wellbeing service. The successful candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of the experiences of those who are struggling with their mental or emotional wellbeing, which may have been developed through professional or lived experience.

The service aims to meet clients where they are at, and candidates must demonstrate compassion and active listening skills, as well as confidence and assertiveness in dealing with the unexpected and with occasionally complex disclosures or circumstances.

Additionally, the successful candidate will:

  • Have confidence building rapport with service users both one-to-one and groups
  • Be familiar with principles of professional boundaries, risk management and safeguarding
  • Demonstrate commitment to equality and diversity in all aspects of their role

This role is based at the Nottingham Wellbeing Hub, with the possibility of some community working. Willingness and ability to travel to sites across the county may be required.
