NIGHT / WEEKEND WORKER POTTER STREET, WORKSOP, PERMANENT, 37HRS, GRADE 2N £25,141, FTE

Potter Street is a small, supported accommodation service where we aim to give homeless people the support and independence needed to move on to a successful tenancy in the community. This role is based in a 12 bed hostel with 24/7 staffing.

We are looking for a dedicated and caring person to be responsible for residents in the hostel. We also have 32 units of move-on accommodation on various sites. The tenants in these units may approach you for help via phone or in person but you will not be required to visit any other sites.

The role is a full time Night Duty Worker position in Worksop, working to a rota of 3 nights on 6 nights off, 8:30pm-9:00am plus 3 weekends in 9 of working both Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 8:30 pm. This equates to an average of 37 hours per week over a 9 week period. We are also prepared to consider a 30 hour contract for just the nights.

This will be a lone working position, but you wouldnt be left alone till fully trained. Support is available to maintain the safety of you and the service. Such as a lone working system and a duty manager for out of hours. . Experience of working with our client group is desirable but the ability to build rapport and encourage adults of all ages and issues to make informed, good decisions is what is most important.
