Are you a proactive individual looking to start/continue a career working with young people aged 16-21? Do you want a rewarding role where you can positively affect the lives of young people? Do you have an understanding and or can relate to the issues that young homeless people face?

Our Step-up service is a small, supported accommodation service where we aim to give young adults the support and independence needed to thrive and continue into adult life. This role is based in a hub, working with young adults who have not had the best start in life.

We are looking for a dedicated person to be responsible for Children in care, Care Leavers and other young adults aged 16 to 21 years old who are referred into our Young Persons Services. You will have the commitment to reach out, even to the most challenging young people.

We have a full-time Night Duty Worker position in Swadlincote, working to a rota of 4 nights on 4 nights off, 9:30pm-8:30am. This will be a lone working position, but you wouldn't be left alone until fully trained and a duty manager is available. Experience of working with young people is desirable but the ability to build rapport is essential.
