Framework Housing Association is looking for a Voids Maintenance Operative to help turn empty properties into safe, clean, and welcoming homes ready for new tenants. If you enjoy working on empty properties, cracking on without interruptions, and seeing a property go from tired to ready-to-let, this role is right up your street.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out maintenance works on void (empty) properties
  • Getting homes up to let-ready standard quickly and safely
  • Completing a range of repairs including basic plumbing, carpentry, patch plastering, decorating and general snagging
  • Working from void inspection lists and schedules
  • Flagging any bigger issues that need specialist attention
  • Making sure all work meets quality, safety and compliance standards
  • Keeping job updates clear and accurate

You’ll mostly be working in empty homes, so you can focus on getting the job done right.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in property maintenance, refurb, or voids work
  • A practical multi-trade skillset
  • Pride in finishing jobs to a good standard
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good understanding of health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Formal qualifications are welcome, but solid hands-on experience is just as important.
