A rare and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join our Community Recovery Team in Lincolnshire as a Specialist Housing Related Planner. Co-located within our partner agency, Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership (LRP), you will play a key role in helping individuals overcome barriers to securing and maintaining stable accommodation. This vital role focuses on supporting adults engaged in substance misuse treatment, with a particular emphasis on addressing housing-related challenges.
Our housing specialist supports anyone who presents at LRP with a housing need, whether they are street homeless or struggling to maintain a tenancy. The specialist is also on hand to offer housing advice to LRP staff, enhancing the support we provide as a whole. We have a dedicated budget that allows us to pay deposits and rent in advance to secure housing for our clients. Your support will directly contribute to clients' progress towards healthier, more stable lives and improved overall wellbeing.
Duties and Responsibilities- To provide support to Service Users in a safe and maintained environment, by support planning, reviewing and assessing their individual risks and needs.
- Be responsible for assessing and evaluating the needs of Service Users.
- To ensure that tasks identified in support plans are communicated to Support Workers and that these tasks are clear, appropriate and agreed with the Service User.
- To enable Service Users to understand the requirements of independent living including budgeting, maintenance and use of leisure time.
- To liaise appropriately with Key partners, stakeholders and service providers to ensure appropriate support is offered to all Service Users.
