Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe's leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work, presentations, a personal project, and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece, Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.
Working within the Film and Episodic as an Animator at Framestore, you will contribute to the creation of photorealistic characters and creatures across advertising, episodic TV, and immersive projects. You will work closely with Animation Leads and Supervisors to help deliver high-quality, story-driven animation while collaborating with Rigging, Pipeline, and Production to meet both creative and technical goals. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys teamwork, responds positively to feedback, and is keen to continue developing their animation skills within a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Maya
- Solid understanding of animation fundamentals (motion, weight, balance, form)
- Familiarity with character rigs and animation pipelines
- Ability to take feedback and iterate efficiently
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and techniques
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be entering the final year of your degree or have graduated in the past 12 months
- You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident, student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship
- You must be available from 6th July until 29th August 2026
