Framestore is home to a collective of visionaries working across film, advertising, television, and immersive. Our work and skillset are wide-ranging, thanks to a pool of 3500 talented artists and producers in offices across the globe.
Framestore's dedicated Pre-production Services division is looking for a talented Previs Artist. As a Previs Artist, you will design pre-visualised shots and sequences on a project basis, working with the creative direction of the Visualisation Supervisor to define the shot composition, staging, lighting, and camera language - including movement, lens choices, and framing.
Our Previs Artists' skill sets are varied but are seen as the in-house cinematographers and 3D storyboarders visualising the Directors initial edit that will go on to inform the shoot and post-production VFX lifecycle. You will also need to produce technical information in diagram form or animated schematics - otherwise known as 'techvis' - based on the previs.
Framestore’s Pre-production Services was formed in early 2020 to better support our Film.
