Overview

The activities of the marketing team revolve around promoting the work we\’ve completed for our studio clients. For larger projects, this includes interviews with VFX and/or Animation Supervisors to showcase the creative and technical aspects of our work, speaking opportunities, social media content creation and awards. The new Marketing Manager will need to proactively drive show marketing campaigns, with a focus on building awareness of Framestore amongst film studio executives, filmmakers and film fans. Nimble and entrepreneurial, the Marketing Manager should seize opportunities to raise the profile of Framestore. A global role the Manager will focus primarily on the work of our London and Melbourne studio, and will also work with the team to pitch media on broader stories, including new hires, our tech and other opportunities to profile senior leadership, our senior talent and position Framestore as a key creative contributor to the film production process. Responsibilities

  • Drive show marketing across owned and earned platforms with a strong emphasis on social media.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce the work of Framestore, deepening understanding of our contributions to filmmaking and our innovative use of technology to drive creative storytelling.
  • Identify speaking opportunities for key creatives and leaders.
  • Secure media opportunities to raise the profile of our work, talent and technology.
  • Celebrate our successes internally via roundups, internal events and reporting.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years working in film, entertainment, or creative industries marketing/PR, ideally with experience agency-side.
  • Campaign Management: Proven ability to design and run integrated campaigns across earned and owned channels, with strong social media skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Passion for film and filmmaking, with a solid understanding of visual effects, animation, and emerging creative technologies (knowledge of AI in filmmaking is a plus).
  • Media Relations: A network of journalists and media contacts across film, entertainment, and technology, with a track record of securing impactful coverage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex creative and technical work into compelling stories for multiple audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidence in liaising with senior creatives, studio executives, and production partners, as well as coordinating across global teams.
  • Proactive Mindset: Entrepreneurial, results-focused approach; able to spot and act on opportunities to raise Framestore\’s profile.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong project management ability, balancing multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Internal Engagement: Ability to create engaging internal communications, celebrating successes and strengthening company culture.
