A multi Oscarâwinning creative studio, we have worked with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. The Role
As a Senior Compositor at Framestore London, youâre not just blending images; youâre part of a creative conversation. Work closely with Compositing Leads, compositing Supervisors, as well as VFX Supervisors to figure out the best way to bring assigned shots to life. Your responsibilities include integrating 2D, 3D, and liveâaction elements to achieve highâend visual effects film standards, as well as providing support and training to more junior artists in the team.
Additionally, youâll be responsible for:
- Keeping the project on track by meeting schedules and show deadlines.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with Production.
- Balancing the creative and technical elements of each shot, using your expertise in Nuke.
Job Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke.
- Previous experience working on highâend Film and/or TV projects.
- Working with multiple renderâpasses.
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proâactive and collaborative work ethic.
- A strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and problemâsolve.
- An understanding of colour space principles.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of practical lighting for photography.
- Working knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline.
- Experience in dealing and communicating with clients.
- Programming and coding experience and knowledge.
