The Role:

  • Position: Social Media Manager
  • Employment: Freelance Part Time
  • Fee: £1500-2500 a month depending on experience
  • Availability: Role expected to take about 50% of the working week. Remote online availability at weekends/evenings around key events is essential.
  • Location: Remote / Must operate on UK time zone in UK working hours & be available to attend shoots adhoc when requested in London
  • Reporting to: Artist’s management
  • Start date: Q4 trial. Q1 2026 onwards

The Responsibilities:

Working closely with the artist and their team at Frame Artists you will be responsible for delivering the artist social media strategy across all of their profiles, proactively managing the platforms end to end with the absolute focus of delivering excellent audience engagement & fanbase growth.

Including but not limited to:

  • Leading the day to day social media, under the guidance of the artist’s team, to deliver world class social media strategy, unique across multiple platforms, which grows & engages the artist’s global fandom.
  • Manage the artist’s profiles on; Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, X, Threads, Facebook & any other social media platform requested.
  • Run a rigorously structured, organized and consistent set of internal systems for approvals and keep an up to date centralised social schedule, always working weeks & months ahead.
  • Owning the artist’s content filing system; keeping this hyper-organised, with an in-depth knowledge of all content, sourcing content from the database for other departments and stakeholders, sharing folders as requested.
  • Working closely with our head of content to plan and brief all social media and content deliverables across all events & shoots. Work together to create a cohesive creative vision across the artist’s output and consistently push the boundaries of content & social output.
  • Social first video & content editing, crafting all social media posts, copywriting all captions.
  • Working closely with artist’s management, label, marketing lead, promoters, merch partners & other stakeholders to plan and execute all marketing campaign roll outs on social across releases, live, merch & brand partnerships.
  • Stay extremely tapped into social media trends & discourse. Contribute to creative ideation on social media, bringing your own ideas to the table.
  • Community management across all socials
  • Monthly in-depth reporting on; content performance, page growth & community sentiment.
  • Be available in the UK to attend occasional events, shoots & studio sessions to capture social content & execute live social around key moments.
  • Working closely with our Discord community manager, CRM, content seeding teams to drive growth on D2F & community channels.

Necessary Experience & Skills:

  • Must have experience of end to end social media management
  • Experience of editing video for social
  • An interest in & knowledge of dance music and rave culture
  • Native user of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
  • Open and quick to learn emerging platforms and sub-platform tools (e.g. Threads, Reels, YT Shorts)
  • Able to absorb information and translate it into clear creative briefs
  • Problem solver and solutions-focused, not phased by changing plans
  • Intermediate skills in Photoshop, Premiere Pro (or similar tools)
  • Working knowledge of export settings, formats and platform-specific requirements (basic knowledge required; training provided)
  • Strong copywriter – writes in artist’s tone while following platform best practices

  • Deep understanding of how and why trends evolve (e.g. the shift to cinematic tour diaries/postcards)
  • Ability to spot and anticipate platform-native creative formats before they become mainstream
  • Brings fresh, exciting ideas aligned with the artist’s brand
  • Hyper-organised and systems-driven
  • Exceptional attention to detail and memory
  • Enjoys planning, scheduling, and keeping things on track across multiple projects
  • Obsessed with building and maintaining smooth workflows

Not essential but favourable:

  • Cultural Interests;
  • Specific interest in & knowledge of drum and bass scene
  • USA & international electronic music scene knowledge
  • Fashion and streetwear
  • Experience working with artists on their social media
  • Experience working on chart topping campaigns
  • Basic understanding of camera operation and settings (preferred; can be taught)
  • Prior experience in a small, fast-paced team (preferred but not essential)
