Frame 25 is a specialist recruitment business at the centre of the broadcast, media and technology industries. Our clients include national news broadcasters, sports rights holders, streaming platforms, post-production facilities and the technology businesses that keep them all on air.
We place technical and commercial talent from entry-level through to executive, across both permanent and freelance markets. We’re hiring a consultant who wants to build a career in one of the most fast-moving and high-impact areas of media: live broadcast, streaming and production technology.
We’re looking for someone sharp, personable and genuinely motivated to build a long-term career in a specialist market. This role suits someone with 1–3 years’ experience in a customer-facing, sales or service environment who wants to step into a more relationship-led, high-value recruitment model.
You’ll work closely with senior consultants on live assignments, developing your understanding of the industry while playing a real part in delivering for clients and candidates. Recruitment here isn’t about firing out CVs. It’s about understanding what a customer actually needs, finding the right people for it, and building relationships that last beyond a single placement.
You’ll have real visibility and responsibility from early on - this isn’t a role where you’ll be one of many.
A typical day might start with a briefing call alongside a senior consultant. A broadcaster is launching a new live sports programme and needs to build the technical crew from scratch: a team of engineers, operators and production staff, all starting within the same two-week window. Your job is to understand the brief properly, get into the candidate market quickly, and start identifying the right people.
From there, you might be screening candidates, having conversations that go beyond the CV, writing up a shortlist with proper assessment behind it rather than just a list of names, and keeping the client updated with useful insight. Later in the day, you might be researching a new area of the market, tracking down a specialist in a niche technical role, or supporting a senior consultant with a retained search for a more senior hire. No two days look the same - which is either something that appeals to you or it isn’t.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1–3 years in a customer-facing, sales or service role. We’re less focused on the sector than on whether you can demonstrate the right behaviours.
- Someone who communicates clearly and builds rapport naturally. A lot of the people we work with are highly experienced specialists - being credible with them matters from day one.
- Organised and self-motivated. Hybrid working suits people who manage themselves well.
- An interest in broadcast, media or technology is a genuine advantage. The industry has its own language and culture, and the quicker you pick that up, the better you’ll do.
- Comfort with ambiguity. We’re a specialist team, not a process factory.
- Comfortable using modern tools (including AI) to work efficiently and stay organised. We’re also a Mac-based team, so familiarity with Apple products is useful.
What we offer:
- A base salary that reflects experience, plus an uncapped commission structure designed to reward performance early - not just tenure.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working (typically 2–3 days in our Bicester office).
- Laptop and phone provided.
- Structured onboarding and ongoing development, with direct access to senior consultants who’ve spent their careers in the industry.
- A clear progression path - we’d rather promote from within than hire from outside.
- The chance to work on assignments for some of the most recognisable names in UK and international broadcast.
This probably isn’t the right role if you’re looking for a heavily scripted, high-volume environment. But if you want to build real expertise in a specialist market, work closely with experienced consultants, and play a meaningful role in delivering for clients from day one, this could be a strong fit. If that sounds like the kind of environment you’d thrive in, we’d like to hear from you.
