We’re supporting a leading broadcast operation with a large-scale live production facility, currently looking to add Broadcast Support Engineers to their 24/7 engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting live broadcast environments, working across studios, galleries and transmission systems.

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for monitoring and supporting broadcast systems in a live environment, including:
  • Troubleshooting video/audio signal chains
  • Supporting playout, ingest and transmission systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in real-time
  • Working across SDI and IP-based workflows (ST 2110 / NDI)
  • Supporting broadcast infrastructure, servers and monitoring tools
  • Logging and managing incidents between shifts

This role involves working both independently and as part of a small team in a 24/7 operation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a Broadcast Support / MCR / Transmission / Playout environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working in live broadcast environments
  • Exposure to SDI and/or IP video workflows
  • Familiarity with Linux / broadcast systems / monitoring tools
  • Able to work independently on shift

This role is not suited to OTT / DevOps / pure cloud engineers - we’re looking for hands-on broadcast operations experience.
