Due to our ongoing growth and business demands, we are recruiting a Recruitment Coordinator. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment administration and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role plays a key part in attracting, screening, and onboarding talent by coordinating recruitment activities and managing all associated administrative tasks in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Activities:

  • Support recruitment campaigns by liaising with hiring managers and the recruitment team
  • Review and sift CVs against job requirements to shortlist suitable candidates
  • Conduct initial candidate screening (e.g., phone or virtual pre-screen interviews)
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, including panel availability and logistics
  • Prepare interview packs and ensure hiring managers are briefed
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback
  • Manage job requisitions and maintain applicant tracking systems
  • Administer offer processes, including drafting offer letters and contracts
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks (e.g., right to work, references, security clearance if required)
  • Handle full onboarding administration for new starters
  • Prepare and issue new starter documentation and ensure completion prior to start date
  • Liaise with HR, IT, payroll, and line managers to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in line with GDPR and company policies

Person Specification:

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or resourcing support
  • Proven ability to sift CVs and support candidate screening
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to coordinate interviews and manage stakeholder schedules
  • High attention to detail, especially with documentation and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience handling confidential information professionally

  • Experience working within engineering, technical, or regulated industries
