What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across complex engineering projects—driving compliance with ISO 9001, leading audits, managing non-conformities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. From reviewing technical documentation and overseeing inspections to liaising with clients and suppliers, you’ll be at the heart of quality assurance.

  • Lead and support audits, investigations, and governance programmes
  • Manage NCRs, RFIs, and corrective/preventative actions
  • Oversee supplier and on-site quality activities
  • Ensure compliance across materials, production, and finished products
  • Compile and maintain Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs)
  • Champion Lean / Six Sigma improvements across the project

What we’re looking for:

  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher)
  • Strong QA experience in regulated industries (nuclear desirable)
  • ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification
  • Welding/NDT knowledge and inspection experience
  • Familiarity with NEC3/FIDIC contracts and project environments
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership skills
