What you’ll be doing:
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across complex engineering projects—driving compliance with ISO 9001, leading audits, managing non-conformities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. From reviewing technical documentation and overseeing inspections to liaising with clients and suppliers, you’ll be at the heart of quality assurance.
- Lead and support audits, investigations, and governance programmes
- Manage NCRs, RFIs, and corrective/preventative actions
- Oversee supplier and on-site quality activities
- Ensure compliance across materials, production, and finished products
- Compile and maintain Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs)
- Champion Lean / Six Sigma improvements across the project
What we’re looking for:
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher)
- Strong QA experience in regulated industries (nuclear desirable)
- ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification
- Welding/NDT knowledge and inspection experience
- Familiarity with NEC3/FIDIC contracts and project environments
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership skills
