As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the ownership and continuous improvement of procurement procedures and processes. Your duties will include:
- Defining objectives related to the performance of the procurement process and procedures.
- Reviewing data and KPIs to support the efficiency of the procurement function.
- Identifying strategic partners and building long-term relationships and contracts with suppliers in the industry.
- Understanding tenders and project needs, and proposing adapted strategies to obtain quotes that meet these needs (delivering and managing RFQs).
- Day-to-day management of the upstream procurement process and function, including team development and training.
- Leading negotiations on price and terms and conditions (with legal) to deliver value.
- Leading the Tenders and Projects team on the best route to market.
- Leading transformation initiatives aimed at building procurement organisational capabilities and improving procurement efficiency.
- Management of logistics, including weights, dimensions, etc.
- Preparation of forecasts on changes in the market or price, as well as on the company's own demands.
- Management of Purchase Orders.
