As a QHSE Advisor, you'll work closely with operational teams, project managers, and senior leaders to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation. As a QHSE Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to the business, supporting a wide range of projects and operational activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert QHSE advice and guidance to project and operational teams
- Supporting the implementation and continual improvement of our Integrated Management System
- Promoting a positive safety and quality culture across all business areas
- Conducting audits, inspections, investigations and assurance activities
- Supporting compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 19443 standards
- Assisting with regulatory compliance activities and customer requirements
- Monitoring QHSE performance and helping identify improvement opportunities
- Supporting Nuclear Safety culture initiatives and company-wide improvement programmes
- Collaborating with suppliers and partners to ensure high standards of QHSE performance
- Assisting with risk assessments, lessons learned activities, and incident investigations
We're looking for someone who is passionate about driving high standards and building strong working relationships. You will ideally have:
- Experience in a Quality, Health, Safety and Environment role
- Knowledge of management systems and recognised ISO standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence and support teams at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Experience within a regulated industry such as nuclear, energy, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure would be advantageous
