For the SZC Project, work on the replication strategy and some early design studies are already underway and being delivered and managed from both France and the UK. The SZC project is managed by a project team, partly located in France and in the UK. The strategy for SZC is for most of the scope of NI design replication activities to be lead and managed in the UK from the Edvance UK Bristol office.
The key duties and responsibilities of the Engineering Tools Lead are as follows:
- Support the definition of initialisation strategies for the tools and data, and the operational roll-out of the tools (including the satellites of these tools). Support the drafting of the tools initialization notes.
- Ensure the verification and validation procedures for entry in production of the newly initialised tools are rolled out properly.
- Support the definition of the responsibilities and processes for the administration and IT support for the tools in their perimeter.
- Monitor the proper use of the tools, raise alerts when needed and liaise with relevant entities to fix any issue which may occur.
- Define and implement data quality and sanity checks.
- Define and provide regular reports and KPIs on the data quality, and tools performance.
- Oversight the inputs coming from relevant contributors to ensure technical consistency of the data imported in the tools.
- Collect from the engineering entities the needs of evolutions of the tools.
What are we looking for?
Ideal experience for this position would include:
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Good knowledge on design tools and databases, nuclear or complex-product oriented.
- At least 2 years relevant experience using or administrating a database or design tool.
- Data Management knowledge.
- Information Systems knowledge.
- At least 2 years experience in Project Management.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge in AVEVA TAGS tools.
- Knowledge in Dassault 3Dx PLM tool.
- Experience in similar large and complex project(s).
- Knowledge in Configuration Management.
