Within the Engineering function of Framatome Ltd, the C&I Engineer performs C&I studies for Framatome Ltd projects and ensures on time and on cost delivery. He also supports the company's growth and strengthens the technical skills in the C&I field.
Key Activities:- In close co-ordination with the Lead Engineer on site, perform C&I studies, including analysis of input data, clarification requests, identification of interfaces, link with other disciplines.
- Ensure the resolution of open points within the team and participate in the resolution of cross-functional technical issues with multidisciplinary stakeholders, internal or external including the Client.
- Produce site surveys, control architecture drawings, block diagrams, requirement specifications for control panels, instruments, etc.
- Support on-site installation activities.
- Support the development of bids: analyse the contract requirements regarding C&I, identify the appropriate resources, plan the work. If needed, prepare work packages to be subcontracted and participate in kick-off meetings with subcontractors.
- Present and share progress with the Lead Engineer and Management.
- Contribute to the development of the C&I skills within the Engineering function, particularly the training and mentoring of newcomers.
Continuous improvement outputs: contributions, suggestions, lessons learnt, experience feedback from projects and continuous improvement actions.
Training & Development expectations: Engineer with several years of experience in layout and piping.
Software and tools: Microsoft Word/Excel, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autocad, E3D/PDMS.
Key competencies: Interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, influencing skills, ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative, ability to multi-task, logical thinking, results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines. Good knowledge of standards like BS EN IEC 60709, BS 60073, standards relating to electromagnetic compatibility BS EN IEC 52003 and 61000, and standards relating to instruments, cables, wiring.
