What are we hiring for?

  • Manage the contributions to the management of design changes on NI scope through steering of associated design change process, organisation of Committees/Meetings with technical departments and consolidation of the baseline and progress over the NI scope.
  • Support the preparation of the NCC session when DC on NI scope are included in the agenda.
  • Manage the SZC-DC Mantis database on NI scope, in interaction with Plant Integration Services and the development team when required.
  • Monitor and report on the Design Change key performance indicators and dashboards, and proactively take actions to improve performance.
  • Advise on the design change process, to ensure all design changes raised correctly apply the process.
  • Ensure the link with the project control team with respect to the contractual validation of the design changes prior to allowing their implementation.
  • Support the update of the internal Design Change processes owned by PI Services.
  • Ensure communication between different entities and escalate any issues when necessary to the PSZC Technical Director and his/her Deputy.
  • Represent the Technical Directorate at the relevant forums/committees on Design Changes.

Profile

You will have a strong technical background and a solid understanding of nuclear reactor design processes across multiple engineering disciplines. You’ll need an engineering degree or equivalent experience, along with a proven track record of holding at least two technical roles in nuclear engineering. Your ability to apply and understand technical knowledge across complex design environments will be critical to ensuring successful design change implementation.

You’ll demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across transverse teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments. A pragmatic, solution-focused mindset is essential when addressing technical challenges. We’re looking for someone who can build strong, collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout.
