Accountable for inventory control, logistics performance, resource planning, supplier coordination and continuous improvement activities, the role drives operational excellence, compliance and stakeholder satisfaction while supporting successful project delivery**What will you be doing?*** Lead and manage warehouse personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safe working practices, high productivity and compliance with project requirements.* Develop and implement warehouse, materials management and logistics processes.* Take ownership of site inventory, stock control and material traceability, ensuring accuracy and availability of critical project materials.* Forecast material demand and coordinate procurement activities to support programme milestones and minimise schedule risks.* Expedite purchase requisitions and purchase orders, working closely with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure timely material availability.* Manage delivery schedules, goods receipt, inspections, and material distribution across multiple work fronts.* Coordinate site logistics strategies, material movements, storage solutions and resource planning to maximise operational efficiency.* Maintain compliance records for calibrated equipment, tools and certification requirements.* Act as the primary interface between construction, procurement, suppliers, and project management teams on all material-related matters.* Proactively identify and resolve material shortages, delivery issues,and supply chain risks to prevent impact to project progress.## You are**What are we looking for?**Knowledge / Soft skills: β’ ISO 9001 β’ Excellent management style β encouraging, inspiring, and enabling the team around you to be the very best they can be, having a good understanding of computer and warehouse management systems, Excellent relationship building skills, Experience of health and Safety in a warehousing environment. β’ Valid Full Driving License. β’ SSSTS Certificate β’ CILM BE+ Nuclear Unit β’ Knowledge of SAP storage management module β’ Experienced Forklift Driver / Overhead Travelling Crane Driver / Rigger, Basic mechanical and electrical storage knowledge.**Training and Development Expectations:****Educational basics**β’ Level 3-5 qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing (Essential) HNC/HND in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction Management, or similar (Desirable) β’ ILM Level 3 to5 in Leadership & Management. (Desirable) β’ CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) qualification.(Desirable)**Professional basics** β’ Previous experience of MS Office, Asset managgent, Experience of working on Large Construction projects in an international context, β’ CITB HSE Test Supervisors**Key outputs:****β** Ensure the efficient receipt, storage, control and distribution of all materials, equipment and project assets. β Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability, ensuring stock accuracy and availability to support project delivery. β Manage non-conformances, shortages and damaged goods, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.β Lead and coordinate all warehouse, stores and logistics activities to ensure materials are available when required. β Optimise storage, handling and transportation processes to maximise efficiency, minimise risk and reduce costs. β Coordinate site deliveries and logistics activities with internal supply chain teams, project stakeholders and external providers.β Ensure warehouse and storage operations comply with all Health & Safety, environmental, quality and project requirements. β Maintain warehouse facilities, equipment, lifting assets and associated inspection, certification and maintenance records. β Ensure effective document control, material records management and project archiving requirements are maintained. β Lead, develop and manage warehouse personnel and subcontractors, ensuring resources are aligned with project requirements. β Drive a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence. β Monitor performance, establish priorities and ensure delivery against business and project objectives. β Process Improvement & Governance β Develop, implement and continuously improve warehouse, materials management and logistics procedures. β Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, inventory control, customer service and cost performance. β Support business continuity## Additional information**Specialization:** V1 - On site management**Level of education (all)** Associates**Place:** United Kingdom, Bridgwater, Bridgwater (UK)**Employment level:** Non cadre**Position under administrative investigation:** Yes #J-18808-Ljbffr
