The Account Manager reports to the Head of EDF Accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head of Accounts to deliver growth across EDF sub-accounts aligned with UK and global core competencies, meeting business targets.
  • Supporting proposals by developing solutions to client problems across nuclear and non-nuclear accounts to meet objectives.
  • Managing the EDF sub-account process and supporting client communication plans.
  • This client-facing, technical role involves working closely with clients to find suitable solutions, leading proposals from concept to order, and liaising with technical, project, operations, supply chain, legal, and sales teams both locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering sales targets for EDF sub-accounts.
  • Developing cost estimates and proposals for new projects.
  • Assessing constraints and supporting collaborative meetings with clients and suppliers.
  • Leading internal proposal development and bid reviews.
  • Maintaining relationships with client representatives and managing sales opportunities in CRM.

Attributes:

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Membership or working towards membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., IMechE, IChemE, MIET).
  • 5+ years engineering delivery experience with full project lifecycle.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
