Your missions
The Head of Procurement (\βHoP\β) for Framatome Ltd is a subject matter expert in the supply chain processes and strategic sourcing requirements to deliver procurement requirements across project and transverse topics where identified. The HoP is tasked with the day to day oversight of the procurement and contract managers and department strategy to provide a end to end supply chain service to the operations and sales functions of Framatome Ltd across the M gate process and projects in delivery. A focus on devising, communicating and implementing strategies, communicating requirements of the procurement process to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance to the existing systems and processes and supporting the training and development of the key principles to embed as \βnormal\β working practice. The HoP is crucial in strong sourcing, robust supplier partnerships and performance against Framatome group principles and behaviours.
What you will be doing:
- Oversight of sourcing strategies and objectives to deliver those strategic alongside the appropriate governance from concept to delivery
- Delivers training (class room and on the job/ over the shoulder) and drives development needs of function in line with company business plan to achieve focus areas (i.e. delivering a robust supply chain)
- Takes objectives from the master plan, supply chain strategy, and group focus areas and drives them to completion
- Supports on major projects procurement for governance, escalation and support >Β£600k β ensuring all steps of process and governance are complete and add value
- Review and approval of contracts inline with DOA
- Builds and develops an SRM approach to critical and strategic suppliers to develop long term partnerships with governance frameworks supporting them
- Works closely with Supply chain operations to underpin action plans for identified focus list suppliers
- Part of Framatome international managers meeting across SAS/ INC/ Gmbh/ Ltd and attendance a group supplier days/ initiatives for the UK
- Act as reviewer on process updates and amendments on Supply chain processes
- Support to Supply Chain operations to ensure alignment in SRM/ supplier development activity and future project needs
You are
What we are looking for:
- Educated to Degree level and above
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experienced in reviewing and writing contracts, flow down terms and conditions and model form contracts i.e. NEC
- Nuclear industry experience is beneficial but not essential
SRM and category management knowledge - Ability to interpret data and KPIs to refine strategy
- MCIPS qualified
- Management experience (large teams or major project teams) 2yrs +
- 5+ years in a senior procurement/ senior supply chain role
