Your missions
The Account Manager will be report to the Head of EDF Accounts. The key activities form part of the role function:
- Supporting the Head of Accounts to deliver growth across EDF sub-accounts that align with both UK and global core competencies, in line with business targets for the UK.
- Supporting proposals by technically supporting the development of solutions to client problems across our wider nuclear/non-nuclear accounts as required to enable the team to hit our objectives.
- Taking ownership of the EDF sub account management process for EDF and supporting the client communication plan as required.
The account manager role is a client facing technical role, focused on working with the client to find fit for purpose solutions. They will lead and develop proposals from concept through to securing of orders. The role will involve close liaison with client technical and project personnel as well as company colleagues in operations, project management, supply chain, legal and the wider sales/commercial team within the UK and globally.

Role Description
Responsible to the EDF Key Account(s) Director for delivering Framatome annual sales targets across the appointed EDF sub-accounts. These cover both transactional and tactical targets.
Lead the development of cost estimates for client requirements.
Lead the preparations of proposals for bids on new projects, including reviewing existing plans and researching potential challenges related to phased activities.
Assessing and communicating constraints.
Support and lead collaborative meetings between client and potential sub-suppliers for solutions.
Lead internal proposal development and bid review meetings.
Review Requests for Quotations and disseminate as appropriate to the correct business group.
Be proficient with MS Office Suite of applications, Power BI advantageous.
Collaborate with clients to find optimal solutions.
Present proposals through the company\’s governance review process.
Build relationships with client representatives.
Support the maintenance of the Sales CRM to make sure opportunities are captured, tracked and monitored at transactional, tactical, and strategic level.
Assist with the recording & reporting of customer KPI\’s and formal/informal feedback to measure and monitor team and individual performance.
Maintain and develop a strong network of professionals from across industry.

• Develop and execute a market coverage plan ensuring Framatome Ltd is present and active at the working level of the EDF client organisation with a focus on power stations.
Required Attributes:
• Degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline.
• Member of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body (e.g., IMechE, IChemE, MIET).
• 5+ years experience working in Engineering delivery with full life cycle project experience.
• Willingness to travel to site as required to support collaboration with clients and opportunities.
