Office based, with some flexibility. Half day Fridays. Strong independent brand. Fram are working with a Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Devon. Due to growth, they are seeking a level 4 paraplanner, or close to, to join their experienced paraplanning team. Our client is looking for someone with paraplanning experience, who is happy to support an advisor on a 1-2-1 basis.
The role is office based but there is flexibility to work from home if required. The working day ends at 4:00 with a half day finish on Fridays. This opportunity would suit an experienced paraplanner who wants to work with a strong independent brand, with experienced advisors who deal with all areas of advice and investment management. The salary range is dependent on experience and qualification level.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with advisor to collate advice for client
- Preparing for client meetings
- Producing financial planning and investment suitability letters across a range of areas
- Producing comprehensive and clear suitability letters for clients
- Acting as a point of contact to answer client questions
- Assisting with the development of FP review
- Liaising with other technical staff in order to ensure a consistent client experience across the Group
- Using a wide range of software tools, research practices and processes of analysis to create financial plans
An ideal candidate will have paraplanning experience and must be level 4 with CII or close to, and if interested our client will help you work towards Chartered status. Ideally, someone would have experience with Intelligent Office, CashCalc, Genovo and FE Analytics, but not all essential. An interest in later life financial advice/planning would also be useful.
