Fram are working with an award-winning wealth management firm with offices in London. As an independent wealth manager, they can offer objective advice, always acting in their clients' best interests. Their team are experts in financial services, built on integrity and trust, ensuring that their clients receive the highest quality service possible.

The role is for a Technical Paraplanner who will play a pivotal role in supporting their successful Financial planning team. The focus will be on leveraging your specialist technical knowledge to ensure that the teams deliver exceptional holistic financial planning services to their High-Net-Worth clients with complex planning needs.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Preparing for and attending client meetings
  • Note taking and follow up
  • Gathering and analysing comprehensive, detailed information from clients
  • Writing suitability letters
  • Preparing lifetime cashflow models, occasionally presenting in client meetings
  • Constructing financial plans to address clients’ lifetime objectives
  • Carrying out regular reviews of clients’ financial plans, circumstances, and objectives
  • Assisting with complex technical problems and client solutions
  • Become the technical go-to person for Paraplanning systems and software, leading training and maintaining expert-level knowledge
  • Take ownership of key Paraplanning central reference materials, ensuring their maintenance, development, and effective communication to the teams
  • Annual Review process
  • Pension switching & drawdown process
  • Offer ad-hoc support to client teams, assisting with complex technical problems and client solutions, and actively participating in client meetings

A likely candidate will be Level 6, have circa 3+ years of experience in the independent sector of the financial services industry, including direct contact with sophisticated HNW clients. They should be proficient with adviser support tools and software like IO. Experience in a central Paraplanning role, delivering support and training to client-facing teams is desirable. Excellent technical knowledge of asset allocation, investments, life and pensions products, tax, trusts, and pensions transfers is required.
