  • Salary to Β£90K + benefits + equity potential
  • Remote
  • Detailed experience of EIS and SEIS is essential.

Fram is working with a growing specialist business that is looking to engage with an experienced tax professional to support its work across the venture capital and early-stage investment market. The role sits at the intersection of tax, investment and entrepreneurship, working directly with founders, investors and growth companies.

A significant part of the position is focused on EIS and SEIS, advising businesses throughout the investment process and helping them navigate the relevant tax requirements. This includes assessing qualifying status, Advance Assurance applications, HMRC submissions and ongoing compliance as companies raise and deploy capital.

The remit is broader than EIS and SEIS alone. There is increasing involvement in equity and employee share arrangements, alongside wider tax considerations affecting founders and growing businesses. As the firm continues to develop its proposition, there is scope for the successful individual to help shape this area and broaden the support provided to clients.

Client interaction is an important part of the role. Rather than operating as a traditional compliance function, the position involves working closely with entrepreneurs and management teams, explaining technical issues commercially and helping them understand the tax implications of investment, ownership and growth.

This may appeal to someone from a venture capital, entrepreneurial tax, share schemes, creative industries or specialist corporate tax background who enjoys working with founder-led businesses. Strong practical EIS and SEIS knowledge will be important, together with an interest in equity incentives and the wider venture capital ecosystem.

The role offers considerable ownership and would suit someone who enjoys combining technical tax work with commercial problem-solving and direct client relationships.

Flexible working is available, with the role able to be based remotely or in person.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
