We\’re working on behalf of a well-respected and growing financial planning firm that\’s looking to expand its support team with a highly capable and organised IFA Administrator.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team who truly value their support function.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Managing a range of administrative workflows across new and existing business, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Maintaining and consolidating client data across platforms and systems – particularly using Intelligent Office (iO).
- Carrying out compliance and due diligence checks on business submitted.
- Working closely with advisers to create tailored proposals that respond to client concerns and objectives.
- Acting as a confident point of contact for a wide range of clients, providers, and third parties.
- Keeping the back office running smoothly by meeting deadlines and maintaining clear, consistent records.
- Processing fund switches, rebalances, contributions, withdrawals, LOAs, and model portfolio creation across multiple platforms.
- Generating valuations and reports, updating client portals, and ensuring every client touchpoint is accurate and professional.
- Applying your knowledge of group pensions and protection schemes, with an understanding of areas such as VCTs, GIP, DIS, and other financial products.
What we\’re looking for:
- Solid experience within an IFA or wealth management environment.
- A strong working knowledge of Intelligent Office (iO) is essential.
- Previous exposure to multiple investment platforms and FE Analytics.
- A team player who is equally comfortable working independently.
- A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and providers.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills – you take pride in staying on top of your workload.
- A proactive approach, with high attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive client data with discretion.
