Fram is working with a business that is looking to engage with an experienced SEIS / EIS specialist to take responsibility for its startup tax offering. The role can be based remotely or in person and sits at the centre of the firm's work with early-stage and growth companies raising capital under the SEIS and EIS regimes.
The position is hands on and covers the full lifecycle of SEIS and EIS work. This includes:
- Advising on whether companies are likely to qualify
- Preparing and submitting Advance Assurance applications to HMRC
- Managing compliance statement filings
- Supporting clients through the practical steps required to maintain eligibility and secure relief
The role involves regular interaction with clients and close collaboration with internal accounting colleagues, while reporting directly into senior leadership. Alongside the advisory and execution work, there is a strong operational element.
The business is investing in technology and workflow automation, and the role includes helping shape how SEIS and EIS processes are improved over time. This will involve working closely with technical teams to identify repeatable tasks, improve efficiency, and support the rollout of better systems across the wider function.
This may appeal to someone with strong practical experience of SEIS and EIS who enjoys taking ownership of work from start to finish. An accountancy qualification is not essential. More important is a clear understanding of the regime, confidence dealing with clients, and the ability to manage detailed technical work in a structured and commercially aware way.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
