We are looking for a proactive, and people-focused Healthcare IT Deployment Manager to lead the technical rollout, integration, and support of our software solutions across early adopter NHS hospital sites.
This is a pivotal, cross-functional role at the heart of our scale-up journey – acting as the key interface between our internal development team, clinical partners, and NHS IT, information governance, and clinical safety teams. You’ll ensure deployments are smooth, interoperable, compliant, and responsive to the needs of frontline users.
This opportunity would suit a technically skilled professional from a health IT, clinical engineering, or clinical scientist background A strong understanding of NHS infrastructure, digital standards (e.g. DCB0129/0160, HL7/FHIR), and clinical workflows would be an advantage.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats – managing delivery timelines, supporting system configurations, and liaising with a range of stakeholders from hospital CIOs to clinical champions.

Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Integration
- Lead installation and integration of software and hardware interfaced with NHS ultrasound systems.
- Coordinate with hospital IT teams to ensure interoperability (e.g. PACS, RIS, EPR).
- Manage deployment schedules, configurations, and on-site or remote setup.
Support & Maintenance
- Provide technical support during pilots and live use.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate to internal engineering where needed.
- Oversee software updates and system performance monitoring.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure secure handling of pseudonymised scan data.
- Support audits, clinical safety, and technical file documentation.
- Work with clinical and ops teams to support onboarding and training.
- Develop checklists, technical guides, and integration documentation.
- Represent IT in client onboarding and service planning.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in IT deployment or systems integration, ideally in healthcare or medtech
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and project coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to NHS sites across the UK as needed (with potential occasional EU travel)
- Strong understanding of NHS IT (e.g. DICOM, HL7, FHIR, PACS, cloud systems)
- Familiar with data security standards (ISO 27001, DSPT, GDPR)
- Experience with AI/ML or digital health tools
- Knowledge of ultrasound systems or telehealth workflows
