The role

The Immigration Consultant will assist in the day-to-day functions of the UK Inbound team including all aspects of casework and assisting in the preparation of applications. They will benefit from direct supervision and assist in the preparation for and attendance of external meetings, marketing events and project work. There is opportunity to work on varied application types, albeit principally sponsored worker applications.

What your day will look like:

  • Assisting in preparing and delivering client presentations, best practice sessions and training
  • Under direct supervision, acting as a caseworker on straightforward cases
  • Supporting Senior Paralegals and Associates with the progression of more complicated cases
  • Reviewing client queries and drafting responses for review by Senior Paralegals and Associates
  • Preparing documentation for applications under visa routes that include Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Settlement, Appendix FM and others as directed
  • Reviewing applicant and approval documentation
  • Updating the case management system and general administrative support as required

Our UK Inbound team is a diverse team with experienced Senior Associates, Associates, Senior Paralegals and Paralegals. Using their entrepreneurial spirit the team is constantly thinking of new ways to provide industry-leading immigration support.

  • Experience within immigration or a client-facing professional role
  • A desire to develop your career within a corporate environment
  • Displays professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
  • Is able to learn procedural and processing requirements for various visa types
  • Builds knowledge of Firm and client processes
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and achieves high level of productivity
  • Multitasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisors
  • Demonstrates flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team
  • Contributes to positive work environment
  • Develops strong working relationships with team members and gains their confidence through displaying professionalism and efficiency in all communications
  • Demonstrates professionalism and confidence in all communications with their team as well as accuracy and proficiency in written communications
  • Learns from both positive and negative experiences and adapts accordingly

What to expect
