About Fraggell: Fraggell is a performance creative agency for 7–8 figure DTC brands. We help brands scale through Meta and TikTok ad creative that actually drives revenue, not just impressions. We have an in-house studio in Manchester; we're a growing team with both in-house and remote members. The culture is fast, direct, and built around people who genuinely care about what makes an ad work.
The Role: As a Creative Strategist at Fraggell, you’ll be at the heart of the creative process. Turning insights into ad concepts that move the needle. You’ll develop high-performing angles, hooks, and scripts, working closely with editors and producers to bring ideas to life that are emotionally charged, thumb-stopping, and strategically sound. Your job is to blend creative instinct with data-driven thinking, studying what’s working in accounts, in culture, and across the industry, then turning that knowledge into ads that drive measurable growth.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, creative strategy, or paid social.
- A deep understanding of what makes an ad convert — from hook to hold rate.
- You’re constantly looking for new ideas, formats, and frameworks to test.
- Detail-oriented and organised — you can juggle multiple brands and creative threads at once.
- Curious, open-minded, and comfortable sharing ideas and insights with both the team and clients.
- You live and breathe eCommerce, ads, and performance. You’re the kind of person who scrolls through Meta’s Ad Library for fun, listens to marketing podcasts, and experiments with creative formats on the weekend.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading creative strategy for a pod of DTC clients — owning angles, hooks, concepts, and scripts.
- Building and delivering scripts and briefs each month.
- Developing creative through the awareness ladder — from Unaware through to Most Aware — and knowing which level to target for each brief.
- Reviewing performance data in Motion and Ad Manager throughout the month and feeding insights directly into the next round of concepts.
- Working with your producer at the pre-production stage on casting, location, and format decisions.
- Briefing UGC creators and reviewing footage with your producer.
- Staying plugged into platform trends, new formats, and what's working in the ad library.
- Directing in-person shoots to get the best performance for your idea to come to life.
Nice to Have:
- Experience at a performance creative or paid media agency.
- Familiarity with Motion, Foreplay, or similar creative analytics/ad library tools.
- Background writing UGC scripts or directing lo-fi content.
- Understanding of Meta's ad auction and how creative affects delivery.
What We're Offering:
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Manchester-based role with up to 2 days working from home per week.
- MacBook provided from day one.
- 28 days holiday.
- Statutory pension.
- A casual, no-nonsense culture. No corporate BS, just people who care about the work.
- Real creative ownership — your concepts go into accounts spending serious money, and you'll see the results.
