SAS SME – For Migration of SAS Landscape into Modern Databricks based Landscape
- Analyze existing legacy SAS estate, including code, macros, ETL processes, reports, and applications to extract business logic and data requirements.
- Translate complex SAS workflows into modern, scalable solutions using Spark.
- Act as the primary SAS SME, guiding solution architecture with best practices and current technologies.
- Collaborate with teams to design and propose robust migration roadmaps, solution architectures, and phased implementation plans.
- Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and optimization during migration.
- Lead discussions and build solution architecture, incorporating governance, data quality, and client regulatory requirements.
Experience:
- 10+ years building SAS workflows (ETL, models, apps, statistical workflows).
- Experience in large-scale legacy SAS modernization projects, preferably to Databricks, Spark, or cloud data platforms.
- Financial/Insurance services experience preferred.
