We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Email Marketing Analyst with a focus on Customer Lifecycle Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing email campaigns throughout the entire customer journey—from acquisition to retention to reactivation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop targeted strategies that drive engagement, foster customer loyalty, and increase lifetime value. Your insights will directly impact the success of our email marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Lifecycle Strategy: Help develop and implement email marketing strategies tailored to different stages of the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reengagement. Ensure that each phase of the journey is supported by relevant, personalized communication.
  • Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze email performance metrics across all lifecycle stages, including clickthrough rates (CTR), conversion rates, churn, and customer lifetime value (CLV). Use this data to optimize campaigns and share actionable insights with cross-functional partners.
  • Segmentation & Personalization: Work with the database marketing team to recommend and build detailed customer segments based on behaviors, demographics, and lifecycle stages. Leverage these segments to create highly targeted email campaigns that resonate with each customer group.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Work with the optimization team to implement A/B tests for email elements to continuously improve engagement throughout the customer journey. Monitor results and iterate on strategies for ongoing performance improvements.
  • Email Automation & Workflows: Help manage automated email workflows that prevent churn, and re-engage inactive subscribers. Ensure that these automated flows are optimized for maximum effectiveness and relevance at every touchpoint.
  • Data Insights & Strategy Development: Analyze customer behavior data and email engagement trends to identify gaps in the lifecycle journey. Provide insights to optimize customer retention strategies and ensure email campaigns align with broader business goals.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with retail, design, database marketing and data science teams to ensure that email content and campaigns are aligned with the overall customer experience strategy and messaging.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or customer lifecycle marketing.
  • SQL and Tableau (Visualisation tools).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using analytics tools to track and report on email performance.
  • Experience developing and optimizing customer lifecycle email strategies, including acquisition, retention, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Proficient in Excel/Keynote for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, customer segmentation, and personalization.
  • Ability to synthesize data and translate it into actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an eye for detail.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with advanced CRM and customer data platforms.
  • Experience with behavioral email triggers and dynamic content personalization.
