An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our Law Firm, having recently secured litigation funding to enable expansion in the financial mis-selling market, specialising in motor finance sales and personal finance undisclosed commission agreements, whilst working in partnership with data suppliers providing high quality cases. Benefitting from full support of the lead Solicitor, in-house forensic accountant and experienced Company Director.
Key requirements
- Experience: The ideal candidate would have recent experience of litigation (volume claims would be very useful). It would be ideal if the candidate has recent experience of using case management systems; we use our own bespoke system.
- Knowledge: To have up to date knowledge of litigation processes, procedures and legislation. Awareness of marketplace and current developments, opportunities and threats.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the litigation including:
- Complete legal tasks to progress matters.
- Assist the fee earners.
- Draft documents and letters under the supervision of the Solicitor.
Whilst providing an excellent service to our clients you will be:
- Assisting in managing a mixed caseload of high value matters.
- Attending to clients of the firm.
- Actively involved in business.
The candidate will also be self-motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate a high level of organisational skills.
Salary: We offer an attractive salary and package.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
