Position: Immigration Paralegal – full time, permanent – Sheffield or London.
About the role:
- Assist in day‑to‑day functions of the UK Inbound team, including casework and application preparation under guidance of managers.
- Provide support in external meetings, marketing events, sector‑group initiatives, business development, research and compliance advice.
- Work on private client matters and social security applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and delivering client presentations, best practice sessions, and training.
- Act as a caseworker on straightforward immigration applications under direct supervision.
- Support Senior Associate and Senior Immigration Consultant with more complicated cases.
- Review client queries and draft responses for review.
- Prepare documentation for visa routes such as Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Settlement, Appendix FM and others as directed.
- Review case documents and conduct high‑touch calls and BRP ACL cases with applicants.
- Update the case management system, support case billing and auditing, and provide general administrative support.
About you:
- Ideal candidate has experience within immigration or a client‑facing legal role, law degree not required, eager to develop a corporate career, and willing to volunteer for project work such as presentations, article drafting and social initiatives.
- Displays professionalism, quality service and a can‑do attitude to internal members, departments of the firm as well as external clients and vendors.
- Is confident, engaged and articulate with enthusiasm to learn.
- Can learn procedural and processing requirements for various visa types.
