Position Overview: Insulet is looking to add a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal in the UK to join our expanding EMEA Legal Team. This position is primarily responsible for delivery of broad‑based support to legal department activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support for EMEA Legal Team, as well as the broader Legal group (Data Privacy, Compliance) as needed.
  • Make recommendations based on prior paralegal experience on how the legal team can function more efficiently from a support and process standpoint.
  • Perform a variety of basic and increasingly complex work under the supervision of lawyers.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills to manage ongoing projects and assist lawyers in meeting project deadlines.
  • Maintain project timelines and agendas, organizing materials and otherwise assisting with a variety of new and ongoing projects.
  • Serve as the “gatekeeper” for ongoing projects, monitoring progress to ensure that projects remain on track and maintaining organized project files.
  • Coordinate signatures for contracts, including e‑signatures and DocuSign, and legalization of legal documents.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and ingenuity to apply knowledge to assess alternatives and to identify and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare commercial contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents, and maintain internal policies in collaboration with other departments (Compliance, Human Resources).
  • Implement and manage the legal department’s document management repositories, internal department intranet page, contract management system, distributor onboarding tool and other information repositories.
  • Manage vendor and law firm onboarding and invoicing, including legal department invoicing and spend tracking platform.
  • Implement and manage digital tools and software used by legal team for legal operations and optimize other internal legal processes with the goal of positively impacting the legal team as Insulet grows and scales.

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a paralegal role.
  • Paralegal experience in an in‑house corporate legal department within a large enterprise or international company; exposure to a technology or medical device company is a plus.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to take initiative, multi‑task, prioritize multiple duties and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work alone and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow up and follow through on tasks and project deadlines.
  • Ability to be proactive and a self‑starter to serve as “go to” person for legal team needs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (DocuSign, SharePoint, Zoom, etc.).
  • Fluency in German and/or French is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements: General office environment; may sit for long periods of time.

NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on‑site/virtual as desired).
