HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent contract
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The role of the paralegal is to fee‑earn and to provide direct support to his/her team members to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency. This will include, but will not be limited to, the main responsibilities given below. The paralegal is expected to use a high degree of self‑management and initiative.

KEY TASKS
- To assist with the following - attorney services and Help From Hedges cases to include gathering asset information, asset valuation, liaising with clients and third parties; trust administration; client visits; preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills.
- Prepare correspondence and documents as instructed
- Adhere to company procedures relating to file opening, observance of money laundering and other compliance procedures, and matter management
- Liaise with clients in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care
- Undertake any specific training when required to do so
- Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information
- Attend and participate in departmental and office meetings when required
- Undertake any other duties as are reasonably required within the course of your employment
- Adhering to and promoting Hedges’ values at all times
