Rubric Law are seeking a full-time, Monmouth office based, legal assistant or paralegal to support their corporate team.

Rubric Law is a dynamic boutique law firm that has hand‑picked and nurtured its team to deliver a high‑quality, sophisticated service with a personal touch. We are now seeking an ambitious, commercially minded legal assistant or paralegal to help the next phase of growth.

The role involves supporting the corporate department and, occasionally, the employment, commercial or real‑estate teams with:

  • Client engagement
  • File opening
  • AML, EDD where required
  • Due diligence reports
  • Legal research
  • Drafting and proofreading contracts and other PLC precedents
  • Filing submissions to Companies House
  • Invoicing
  • Online portal management

You will focus on building relationships with clients and introducers and consistently deliver outstanding support to fee earners and clients.

How you will make a difference? You will assist with the existing case load and provide support to the department.

Who you will be working with? You will have direct access to all members of the team and report to your Head of Department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Law degree

  • Comfortable with a varied case load
  • Proficient in MS365

Location, hours and salary:

  • Full‑time (Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week) – 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Location: Monmouth office; team also meets bi‑monthly on the outskirts of Bristol
