We are a busy civil litigation and private client firm looking for a fee earner (trainee, legal executive or paralegal) to assist with a variety of work. The role offers opportunities in personal injury, housing disrepair, probate and wills, powers of attorney, CCJ and debt, and admission of advocacy for those interested.
Ideal candidates are:
- either holding an LLB or having experience in a firm of solicitors;
- demonstrating a positive can-do attitude, superb telephone manner and excellent communication skills;
- familiar with Outlook, Word, Adobe and Proclaim. Proclaim experience is preferred.
- Candidates with the ambition to become a solicitor are strongly preferred.
Duties:
- Handle inbound calls and process new leads to convert to new clients.
- Record all client and third-party communications accurately on the case management system.
- Answer client queries and provide updates via email or telephone in a professional manner.
- Draft witness statements, court documentation, wills, powers of attorney, and letters of claim.
- Assist reception with new enquiries.
- Assist in the processing of client cases, contacting third parties & clients, and drafting emails and court orders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- LLB or experience in a firm of solicitors.
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Adobe and Proclaim.
- Positive can-do attitude; willingness to work hard.
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
